TNT Practice Swim - 1 hours - 04/24/2008

What a great swim! Before practice I watched an advanced swimmer finish up his practice and was in awe at how easy he made swimming appear. He was so fluid and relaxed. I also never really knew what our coaches meant when they said to “glide”, but after watching him I totally got it. When I got in the water I concentarted hard on trying to imitate his stroke, and it really did help. My stroke was more relaxed, I stretched more and I actually felt as though I was gliding as well. Normally I would need a break after each 100, last night I found I could easily go 300 without stopping. I was lucky to have seen this guy in the pool.

1st Morning Swim- 04/22/2008

I went to the YMCA to swim with Nick today. I was surprised by how any people were already there. Swim was good. I struggled to do 2-800m’s. I can’t seem to do more than 100m without taking a break. I have to get my endurance built up fast so I don’t struggle come June 12th.
